http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GDAAW72myQ&feature=related (April & Spey Technique)
This There is maybe a slight or greater than slight cult following of April Vokey, the guide/hottie from Chilliwack, who seems to be in possession of one chromer after another with a two hander close by. The point, as we know and choose to ignore in light of these pictures, is that women can fly fish. I prefer to stifle remarks on how frigging hot they are and let the visuals speak for themselves. Oh, and a bonk on the head of any guide, boyfriend, or hanger on that inserts themselves into a pic of the girls, a big fish and the high end system. Stay the hell out of the pic.

April appears uncharacteristically mussed here. May I just say the blue is a very flattering color?
I know, very typical male. Whatever. Photo’s courtesy of those Quebecians at http://www.quebecpeche.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32352&st=45.
As, I remarked yesterday, I have a kid that is already beset with the AVS (April Vokey Syndrome) and has threatened to move North. Now that is not entirely a bad idea, because his room could finally be deep cleaned, and who knows what I would find before reclaiming a room in the house. OK, enough gratuitous beautiful women. At least she is wearing a sweater and waders rather than hip boots and a halter top (you AVS types will recall some earlier photo’s, ignore my remarks). And, for those of you with K8S, stay out of her pics too.

- Ok, she does not have a fish, but so what.

anyone have a link to where these flies can be purchased?
best , rick
Rick, which type of flies are you referring to? Spey flies? Steelhead flies, in general? Let me know what you are trying to find… SB
Awesome.
Also, check out http://www.ffotw.com/ This is AVS central. Jason and Todd have been teasing an April fly tying video for about a year.
As one beset with AVS, there was no way I could decline her recent Facebook plea to donate steelhead flies to the fund-raiser for the Steelhead Society of British Columbia. Check out the details on Facebook group: Flies For Fins Fundraiser
If folks are not on Facebook, you can see the details on my blog (plus another photo of April):

Enough web surfing, got to get back to the tying table to help April help some fish.
