Lady Caroline (’spey pages’ tutorial on how to tie)

Lady Caroline~T. Muncy

Lady Caroline~T. Muncy

The Lady Caroline is of classic lines in the spey category. Don’t overdress it and believe. There is an enormously interesting history re the pioneers of steelhead and salmon fishing with the fly (especially in the NW, no offense to others). The pioneers of techniques and flies live on in the young men and women of today, who provide cutting edge visuals and their energy. Going back is always good to appreciate the breadth of this passion. I found a brief synopsis, which includes some places to start your research on line. There are many fine books as well readily available at shops and online vendors. This is a brief start for beginners.
