I originally took this shot on an early morning as I prepared to fish. The placid water, old cattails, rocks, green grass and the old logs combined for a rustic yet calming feeling. But those logs had been cut at some point and don’t ask me why it grated at me. Everything else was natural, but the log although worn on its sides had been tended to with a saw at some point. Small detail I know but it bothered me.
So I cropped out the logs for a more ‘natural’ look. And low and behold, I miss those darn logs!!!
