I noticed this small spray bottle of Spectrum Response setting on the counter near the check out of a local fly shop last week. I grabbed a bottle (of course I did) and have yet to try it. I wonder if anyone else has tried it as yet? Not a scent additive but a visual enhancer…a means to maintain colors as the fly descends thru the water where colors fade off the spectrum chart. Interesting technology. This is a bit different isn’t it? An additive to the fur, feathers & synthetics on the hook.

Worth a shot so to speak.
Gary,
I’ve been using a lot of the Spirit River UV 2 in my recent ties. This may be over kill…please let me know how it works for ‘ya !

Will do. I like your experiments with the blue/purple colors as well.
