Interesting Damsel patterns for Carp. The inclusion of a wingcase and athe placement of the wound hackle almost like a beard. Nice photography.
This is a nice shot also. I noticed the dumbbell eyes on the top of the shank. I believe this will usually cause the fly to flip over with the point riding on top (like a salt pattern). If so, the foam body serves what purpose? Not saying to use it. I wonder if the lighter plastic eyes would keep the fly upright and better utilize the addition of the foam. Two nice shots from a Carp Fly Swap, 2006. I show them because the tying components are a bit different. Not saying they are wrong, they just jump out to make me think.
