The classic spey flies still hold a special place for clean lines and simple efficiency. Temple Dog, Arctic Fox and marabou undulate their way into our fish seduction psyche with good cause. But, the traditional spey flies still have a place in our Atlantic Salmon and Summer Steelhead arsenal and in larger sizes the Winter repertoire. I am by no means an expert on the history or suitability of fly design. I just find this a pretty fly to display and watch being tied.

i love this site, beautiful flies, nice heads. We’ve signed up for your latest blog updates. Excellent
