Planet Trout reminded me that ‘simple’ is not simple unless a few additional details are offered: black or nickle bead, pupa hook, black sparkle dubbing and pearl core braid (light green or rootbeer) burned and crimped at rear.

Bead Head Pupa (Simple Stream Pattern)

would this be effective in a size 10?

Yes….probably the perfect size in a size 10 say 2x….it is the shorter, stouter dragon nymph as opposed to the longer, more slender pattern. If you query (search box upper right area) dragon flies on SwittersB you will find several past posts re the differences in size/patterns. I like the Kaufmann Dragon a lot and the length can be adjusted.

What I have is on a card with no packaging affixed (took it out of the glassine packaging and tossed) (lime and rootbeer) but this picture is the same material.
