    My trout fishing is done on the small spring creeks of S.W. Wisconsin, and my rods (3 and 4 wt) are both 7 1/2 ft. There’s a place for a 9′ 4 or 5 wt., though, when the grass is high, the wind up and hoppers are the flies of choice.

      It is nice to reconnect with the smaller…streams, flies, fish. My early memories were of small streams, small Cutthroat with the occasional big one 10″ 🙂
