Gathering Gaggle of Geese (A Photo)

The term goose applies to the female in particular while gander applies to the male in particular. Young birds before fledging are called goslings. The collective noun for group of geese on the ground is a gaggle; when in flight, they are called a skein, a team or a wedge; when flying close together, they are called a plump. Wiki

I was hunkered down into a strategic presentation, lost in contemplation of the take. Out of the corner of my eye, some 20 feet to my left this flotilla quietly cruised by. I set my rod down to snap the pic. The fly line jolted outward, momentarily went taut and then slack. I only ‘caught’ the shot of the birds.
