Michael Rischer from KayakFishingOregon.com captured a very close call with a motorized boat on a waterway near Portland, Oregon. Mr. Rischer has quite a few (38) fishing videos on YouTube, from a kayak, in the Portland metro area. Seems to be mostly gear fishing, but if you are into kayak fishing you may find it interesting. The safety considerations of operating a motor boat, bow in the air, must never be forgotten.
I am glad he was okay, I watched the video thinking something horribly tragic, but still so very scary. I was thinking about getting a Kayak, but not so sure now
