Rainbow Trout @ Morning Light

Early morning light; soft, low light makes its way onto the trout’s sides. A chill in the air. The mind is washed with that energy. The pulse quickens. That smirk on the face.

Oh he was a large slab of a fish, but I rarely kill a trout to eat. The non-wild salmon or steelhead on occasion. Our fisheries are in too much decline to kill many fish. Pat, thank you for commenting.
