On a recent outing to Seaside, Oregon, we came upon a young man with a bicycle and basket mounted on front. Inside the basket was this little guy. The pup was calm and adept at posing as a stream of adoring young women made their way to ooooh and aaaah at the little guy. Not surprisingly, the young man enjoyed the attention. No he wasn’t selling the Doggles or the little Helmet. He just took in the attention having effectively used his props.
Funny! Our interaction with our pets, the things we do with them never ceases to amaze me. If our far distant ancestors could see us now.

Funny you say that. I recall reading a re a theory that the wolf pack figured out how to domesticate us…to ease their own burdens of finding food/shelter. They surely didn’t envision wearing funny hats and Doggles.

I love these photos. My hound has probably been dressed in more outfits than my teenage daughter and should probably be canonized as a saint for his patience. I’ll likely petition the Catholic church at some point. Love the blog! Cheers
