the rose has qualities that exemplify beauty beyond the brilliant colors that were present. The curves, the texture, the suggestiveness of softness stand alone when the color is removed.

Sometimes color distracts us from the textures and shapes of the flowers, but yes sometimes the colors are just too beautiful to get rid of! 🙂
