My son, Tony, then 17 y/0, perched this Adams Dry Fly atop his thumb and snapped the shot with the sun setting in the distance behind the fly. Always a creative eye. I adopted the image for SwittersB’s blog banner. A perfect combination of photography, fly fishing, nature, imagination and creativity.
I always wanted to ask about that fly picture and now I know. Well its a great pattern oh and did you tie this one up? Great shot well done .

Yes, long ago. I rarely buy flies unless it is so unique and I need to have a pattern to see/copy. Thanks for comment.
