Humorous to be at gathering with folks in their 50’s and 60’s. It seemed to be a long list of maladies most of us possessed (they only offered up the physical ones, mental health issues weren’t broached but were exhibited in certain instances). One ache and pain after another was brought forth. The prevalent one tonight was arthritis with the colder, damp temps bringing out swelling and aches. As I sat and listened, my eye took in a grove of bamboo close by. Some stood tall and straight. Several had bends and warps to the structure. I imagined those, to include myself, complaining about bad backs to the members of that bamboo grove.
Aches & Pains in the Bamboo Grove

My bones hurt something fierce today because of the weather here, and I am only 30 (I can still say that until Saturday when I turn 29 again).

Ha!!! My Mom was 39 for the longest time. Sorry about those aches. One of the older gents last night was proud of his weather prognostication abilities in that he can feel an approaching storm front in his knees. The wondrous connections of man/nature never cease to amaze. Thanks for dropping by.

I can always tell when a storm is coming and man did we have a doozie last night! We just finished checking out some of the damage. The roof my sister had over their grills now resides in our other neighbors lawn.
