Perfectamity: City Grill View

Perfectamity made a visit to one of Portland’s nicer eateries, the City Grill situated on the 30th floor of one of Portland’s taller structures. Low ceilings, subdued lighting and seating right against the large windows draw the eye outward. This would fit the “posh photography” category.

Ninnie the Cat: “He Said What?”

“Who are you going to believe? Me or some stuffed chew toy?” Ninnie the Cat

“I found it this way!”

Oddly, Penny the Cat is no where to be seen? The expressive eyes, the combination of the ribbon and Mr. Bubbles chew toy was priceless. And, Ninnie the Cat does not sit still for more than a few seconds making photos difficult of the always moving cat. Here, she sat still and just stared up.

Floribunda: Tink’s Joseph’s Coat

It has been typical Spring weather with heavy showers and then beautiful temps in the 70’s and 80’s. With Summer commencing tomorrow our garden is off to a nice start despite the recent heavy poundings of rainfall. Below, I found the Perennials for Sun sign an obvious contrast to the downpour that was heavy even by Portland standards.

Random Takes Today………

I was coming out of hardware store, hands full when I heard the distinct sound of a military jet. I looked up to see one banking hard in the area…a totally never seen maneuver near the Portland Airport and into the air space of approaching passenger jets. Coming on fast was another fighter jet. I fumbled about for my cell phone and juggled sandpaper, plumbing supplies and a bird feeder while swiping the screen to get to the camera. I raised the camera and just attempted to follow along and snap away.

Later, I was cutting through a neighborhood to avoid the main street congestion during rush hour. There in front of a row of vacant lots and overgrown yards was a single plastic chair on the curbing. Not near a bus stop or house. Again the cell phone.

I noticed the sun was getting lower toward the horizon and then I noticed the trellis and clematis casting an intense shadow from the bright sunlight and I again grabbed the old iPhone.
