Cotton Ball Clouds

Have you noticed, lately, that many are sharing images of clouds? They are so pleasing to the eye. Their shapes, their colors, the wisps, shadows, often their majesty. These clouds, I believe they are Alto Cumulus, are less magical but I offer them because they were a continuous cover this afternoon. It was humid by Portland standards. The temp was only 80 but felt much warmer. The eyes were strained with brightness. Like cotton balls hovering just above.

Yes that’s because clouds are always above our heads and making a great show this time of year! Plus folks like me have our head IN the clouds! 🙂

Great shot. We have been having these clouds too lately and there is a mysterious beauty to them as they float through the sky. Almost like lily pads in a pond you could imagine a frog jumping from one to another.

    Good share 😉
