I could water everyday, and I do pretty much, and not equal the nutritive values of a simple rainfall on the garden. It does wonders. Researcher would tell you there isn’t much nutrition in rainfall…a little nitrogen, little phosphorus or calcium. Yet, it still obviously, to me, immediately perks things up.
Children……Grand Children: It all challenges who we were, who we are now, who we will be. Time flies. Thank goodness for the energy, inquisitiveness, love of children that enter your life. Yes, it brings up those pesky considerations of “damn time is flying by so fast!!”. Embrace the moment. Don’t just think of your age, your health, your slower mental faculties, what was. Enjoy what is. Soon it will pass. Will you have enjoyed it?
Ok, a point of reference……….close? Well, kind of……
A very healthy, beautiful Rugosa Rose atop Rocky Butte, Portland, Oregon. It can’t be tended to much nor receive much in the way of water/nutrients yet it is the healthiest specimen I have ever come upon.
Three colorful, mushrooming cloud formations showed between the other layers of clouds last night. The colors were almost like smushed up rainbows in these unique shaped clouds. I didn’t capture, with clarity, the texture/shape of the three clouds, but I had never seen this before. This Spring/Summer has offered up so interesting cloud formations, usually without the inclement weather.
