I’m waiting for an answer, are you smart American? What country or state this rose is from?

Well Wieslaw, I didn’t realize I was under any obligation to explain any of my photographs beyond simply presenting the beauty of the image. But, for you I will explain: my backyard in SE Portland, state of Oregon, US. Pacific NW of US. Thanks

What a lovely rose! I’d love to know it’s name, guessing you likely don’t know. šŸ™‚

You are right, I don’t. It was my Aunt’s rose. I have a half dozen roses I bought over the years but the other several dozen roses were my Mom’s and Aunt’s. I unfortunately didn’t think to learn them save one..Mr. Lincoln.

Lincoln is truly unforgettable…. I had a few but they didn’t survive my oven of a garden…. I should try again, I could use a good red rose tho haven’t seen him in many years. šŸ™‚
