turbulent times…

reaching across isn’t an option…turbulent times have arrived. Only a short time ago, the pace was idyllic and seemingly in harmony

changes have, once again, poured down and turbulent times have befallen the mind, the culture

Thought provoking metaphor there Gary.. Although I confess that even during the good times I find streams far more harmonious than more urban environments.

Amazing at the difference in this stream – what rain does is often very unwelcome and destructive.

C. S. Lewis on Do Gooder Tyranny

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
