A moment frozen in time….

never to be repeated, just the same. Time is fleeting. We waste so much energy, life, thinking of the past, worrying about the future. In the moment, we let life rush on by.

Exactly my thoughts! But I love how you eloquently put it. When I’m out there, I live in the moment, enjoying and learning about nature and all of its quirks.

As you age the speed of this moving water is just about how fast life seems to pass by.

C. S. Lewis on Do Gooder Tyranny

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
