if you get a chance to find those crows on the ground…scan 360 degrees and find their friends
they will be situated at different heights and distances, forming a fairly loose perimeter
their constant two note “all clear” squawks changing to alarms when you get too close or look too long
a neighbor’s tree hosted a family for two seasons
it was fascinating to watch as the young developed
a lot of poop but surprisingly quiet
a few less rodents as well
