First Rose…

and it is fitting that it is a memorial rose for my sweet Aunt Tillie (we call it Tillie’s Rose), who gardened well into her 90’s. We tend her garden and roses now and feel blessed by her past efforts.

Almost got it right…

I so seldom photograph wildlife, so my settings are rarely in a mode similar to when I am in a gym, low light, trying to capture a grandchild’s, in basketball or volleyball, movements. So, I really wasn’t prepared or even stationary…out for a walk. Heard the approaching honking, turned and took a chance.

A Goose standing on one foot (palmate…had to look it up) on a log and numerous reflections on Reed Lake near and far shore. Reed Lake is in SE Portland
