fences…

“The grass may be greener on the other side of the fence, but you still have to mow it.”

Pansy’s Happy Face

I had an Aunt Viola…I always thought it unique and pretty name. The Pansy & Viola are related and did you know that Margaret Mitchell originally chose Pansy as her heroine’s name in Gone With the Wind, only settling upon Scarlett just before the book was to be published. Some information re the Pansy

Vintage Fence Design

“Don’t ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up.” Robert Frost

“How well I have learned that there is no fence to sit on between heaven and hell. There is a deep, wide gulf, a chasm, and in that chasm is no place for any man.” Johnny Cash

Out the Back Door: Forgotten

Seedy, blue collar bar: It was a warm night. The air conditioning was not working. The front and back doors were propped open seeking some kind of breeze. I checked out the back door and to me it appeared the area wasn’t visited much anymore. I like the forgotten, over taken, eroding, rustic spots especially when they are right out the back door from the struggling to stay in business present.
