Entry long abandoned…

Over the years, I have watched the decline of a once well maintained, beautiful property. I have seen this before, caused by various life forces: divorce, death, health, hoarding, different visions for a property. Maybe someday, someone will reclaim this entry and the property above.

Lavender’s Gate

“The floures of Lavender picked from the knaps, I mean the blew part and not the husk, mixed with Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Cloves, mixed into a powder, and given to drinke in distilled water thereof, doth helpe the panting and passion of the heart…”  John Gerard (Herball, 1597) (Oh, John, John, John!!?)

“And when at last you find someone to whom you feel you can pour out your soul, you stop in shock at the words you utter— they are so rusty, so ugly, so meaningless and feeble from being kept in the small cramped dark inside you so long.” Sylvia Plath

The Gate

“The fence that makes good neighbors needs a gate to make good friends.” SwittersB

“Death is a part of Life, they are dancing together the dance of infinity in front of the gates of Time. We can live our dreams as we are dreaming our future.”  Grigoris Deoudis

“Don’t ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up.”  Robert Frost
