While playing hoops today in a Portland park, came across a widespread little daisy like ‘weed’…sometimes called ox-eye here, I believe…not unlike clover in coverage, but daisy like.

Springtime springs forth………….
Springtime is so alive. The sun warms us, motivates us. The trees spring forth. The colors emerge. And, turn your back for just a weekend or two and all hell can break loose.
At the same time, this is a busy time of year for end of school activities, the fiscal year budget process (if you are so unfortunate, as I am), opening fishing season (missing it again) and it seems every other scheduled event. All can combine to put you behind those chores. All you need is a backyard BBQ or some celebratory event and the chores seem to get done.
So, the earth awakens and springs forth, whether you are paying attention or not.
