The petals are shivering….

The garden and especially the last roses are about done…the cold rains have arrived, the temps are dropping at night.

Raindrops & Goosebumps

Although today is expected to be 80 (26), lately the temps have stayed in the 50’s with intermittent rain. The morning visit to the garden revealed roses carrying large amounts of raindrops, swaying in the chilly breeze.

Colorful Transition…

A few days ago, I showed you the Pop the Cork rose with its creamy yellowish beginning. This pic shows the transition yesterday morning…pink tinging along the edge of the petals.

Sic Semper Tyrannis

There’s No Accounting For Taste; Search the Blog for Much More. Thanks for Visiting!

C. S. Lewis on Do Gooder Tyranny

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
